Mum, you had so much life and vitality in you, you were so independent and went on many adventures sometimes on your own, you were so interested in your surroundings, could relate great stories to us all. I still can’t believe you are no longer physically here, that you have left us, and even though I know you have gone to a better place, in Heaven with God, and other loved ones of ours, I will miss you so much. I will miss hearing your voice on the phone, those long voice messages you used to leave us, I will miss all our lovely visits to you. I will miss our conversations we had about books, ones we had just read, many of which you had given to me, and television programmes we had in common or not. You always encouraged me when I was down and had that special way of making me laugh, sometimes at myself. You told me in more recent years about how you loved reading your bible, and took great comfort from it. You collected special bible verses and stuck them on your walls along with many family photographs which you loved to have displayed everywhere they could be. Please also know that I have always loved you dearly and I always will. You will be forever in my heart... Rachel xxx
